Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and CaptionXs ("we", "us"), the service at captionxs.isn.media, including the web app and the Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and CapCut integrations. By creating an account or using CaptionXs, you agree to them.

1. Your account

• You must give a real email address and mobile number, and keep your password and API keys private. You are responsible for everything done with your account and keys.
• Each person may have one Free account. Accounts made to collect extra free minutes may be closed.
• You must be at least 13 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live.

2. Plans, minutes and payment

• Paid plans last 30 days from the day we confirm your payment. They do not renew automatically; you pay again to continue.
• Minutes are minutes of audio transcribed. Unused plan minutes do not carry over to the next period. Top-up minutes stay on your account until used.
• Video renders are limited to three times your plan's minutes per period. Subtitle and text exports are unlimited.
• Prices are shown in Pakistani rupees, Indian rupees, Bangladeshi taka or US dollars and include any fees we charge. Your bank or wallet may add its own charges.
• Manual payments switch on once we have checked them. Promo codes are single-use per account, have no cash value and may be withdrawn at any time.
• Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

3. Your content

• You keep all rights to the videos, audio and text you upload and to the captions you create. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service: storing, transcribing, translating, transliterating and rendering them.
• You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload, and that it does not break the law or anyone else's rights.
• Do not use CaptionXs for content that is illegal, sexually exploits minors, incites violence, harasses people, or impersonates someone to deceive.

4. Accuracy

Captions are produced by speech recognition and may contain mistakes. Check your captions before publishing, especially names, numbers, quotes and anything legal, medical or financial. You are responsible for what you publish.

5. Fair use and availability

• Do not overload, attack, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or resell access without our written permission.
• We aim to keep CaptionXs running at all times but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may change features, styles or limits. If a change materially reduces a paid plan you have already bought, you may ask for a pro-rata refund of the unused days.

6. Ending your account

You can stop using CaptionXs at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, in which case unused paid days are not refunded except where the law requires.

7. Liability

CaptionXs is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or lost content, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

8. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will show the date of the latest version on this page. For significant changes we will notify you in the app or by email. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of [City] have jurisdiction.
